Terrific Nights Together (TNT) is the Wednesday evening fellowship meal served in the Family Life Center at 5:30 PM.  Everyone is welcome.  The cost is a free will offering and the benefits include meeting old friends, making new friends, and sharing a good meal.  The menu for Wednesday, March 24 is baked potato, green beans, salad, rolls, dessert, and  beverage.  Kids are treated to hot dogs and cheese balls.  Come one, come all.

The news is that there will be no TNT this, November 4th., week due to the the illness of the chief cook and bottle washer.  Se you all next week.

Wednesday nights are busy nights at FUMC and September 9 was no exception.  Choir practice and youth activities occurred after TNT.  September 9 was the first night of the new school year for Terrific Nights Together, our weekly fellowship meal, and a nice crowd enjoyed the spaghetti, salad, bread, and desserts (especially the ice cream).  The Women’s Bible Group also began a new study.  Following the meal, the Faith Builders’ team met to plan the next project for October 17.  Faith Builders will be working on their 2nd project of basic repairs on homes for people who may need some help.  Following are some pictures from the evening:

Our weekly fellowship meal, Terrific Nights Together (TNT), will begin for the fall season on Wednesday night, September 9.  We meet at 5:30 for a delicious meal prepared by Cathy Justus and her talented team.  It is a time to relax, meet new friends, reconnect with old friends, and enjoy an evening without cooking!  Please join us for this enjoyable event (and invite your friends)!

The TNT team could use your help.  Can you cook?  Set tables?  Bake a cake?  Clear tables?  Serve a meal?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, Cathy Justus and her cooking team need you.  Perhaps you would be willing to bake a dessert once a month or stay a little while after the meal to help clear the tables.  Maybe you would like to help serve the meal…it’s a great way to meet and greet everyone who passes by the window to get a plate of food.  Or maybe you can give one afternoon a week or a month to help cook for the Wednesday night fellowship dinner.  Please consider offering your help.  Talk to Cathy about what you can do.  We all enjoy the food and fellowship.  Now let’s pitch in and help.  (P.S.  Men and women are equally welcome!)

Next Wednesday, February 4, a special treat is in store for our Terrific Nights Together.  The Wesley Academy Staff and Board will be preparing and serving dinner.  Wesley Academy is a two day a week Parents’ Day Out preschool program at FUMC.  The meal will be Mexican Stack-ups with dessert, tea and coffee.  Nachos will be an alternate item available for the youngsters.  The meal begins at 5:30 p.m., so don’t be late!  The cost is a free will offering.  Let’s support this wonderful children’s ministry of our church. 

On February 11, the TNT menu will include lasagna, salad, garlic bread, dessert, tea, and coffee.  Time: 5:30 p.m.  Cost:  free will offering.  Come and enjoy the fellowship.
